This business finances commercial truck purchases for individual truck operators. It was established 15 years ago and has grown consistently with currently 250+ outstanding loans. The loans are secured by a first lien on the vehicle title which is held by the company until the loan is paid off. Interest rates are over 24% and loans are generally for up to 48 months. Default rates have historically been less than 3% due to the thorough credit approval process up front. Current Owner has grown the business through referrals and word of mouth with no advertising or marketing which leaves a huge upside for the new owner. Besides expanding the truck lending the new owner can grow into other types of equipment loans i.e. construction equipment, car wash tunnel equipment, laundromat equipment etc. Owner is looking to retire but will stay on for up to one year to train and transition the business smoothly.
